Our Journey

Since 1990, we have been dedicated to improving vision and preventing blindness by organizing free eye camps, reaching thousands of individuals in need. In 2009, we established the Lions Eye Hospital in Parasia, supported by LCIF, initially operating from a rental building.

In 2012, the late Shivji Bhai Shah of Mumbai generously donated land for the hospital and other social services. With the unwavering support of Lions members and donors, we constructed a state-of-the-art facility, inaugurated on 7th September 2018. Today, Lions Eye Hospital is a renowned multispecialty eye center, offering quality care, including cataract surgeries, glaucoma treatments, and more.
